AMRITHADHARA
The long cherished ambition of bringing out the Family History in print media was fulfilled in 2003 by releasing the first edition of Amruthadhara on the 15th anniversary of our Family Meet, due to the dedicated and conscientious effort of a few members of the 4th & 5th generations of our Family Tree.
Being the first and foremost published document of its kind, Amruthadhara is considered to be the authentic document depicting the evolution and history of Edinjukuzhiyil Family which will serve as the main pillar of our tradition, culture, development and growth, and will be a valuable asset for all members of the present and forthcoming generations of KEK.
The authors of “Amruthadhara” were Prof. Abraham Philip, Puthuveli (First Secretary), Prof. M.I. John Puthuveli (living in Kuttilakattu Tharavadu), P.T. Issac Kontazhy (Ex. Joint Secretary) and E.I. Issac, Hill Palace (Ex. Secretary). Besides the above members, the editorial board specially constituted for this task have contributed and supported the authors for the successful completion of this valuable document “Amruthadhara”.
A Few inadvertent shortcomings/errors crept into the hard copy of this book during compiling and editing have all been addressed and corrected in the Website edition to be launched on 26th December 2018, which shall be considered as the revised latest edition of the hard copy of “Amruthadhara”.
KEK Group, which is keenly involved in various charity activities, was successful in enrolling fifty (50) family members to the organ donation campaign initiated by the State Government in 2015 and all of them have handed over their consent letters in 2017 which is considered to be an admirable task towards accomplishing the social commitment of our Family.
We have immense pleasure to highlight that the only surviving mail member of the fourth generation of our family, Shri. E.M. Paily had set himself as an Exemplary Model by registering himself as the first Organ Donor of KEK Group. We wish him a very long and healthy life.
As part of our commitment to promote education, we had been distributing befitting awards to outstanding children of our family, the best student of the school falling in the periphery of the house in which the family meet is convened every year, 1st & 2nd second rank holders of SSLC and Plus 2 exams and winners of quiz competition. Besides the above, trophies are also distributed to the winners of the arts and sports competition held every year during the family meet.
We are proud that by giving utmost emphasis and care on charity, education, agriculture and social matters, Kuttilakattu Edinjakuzhiyil Kudumbayogam is convened successfully with one heart, mind and body for the past 30 years without any break on every 26th December of the year in different locations of the State.
For this unchallenging success story of our Family Meet during the past three (3) decades, let us join together and praise the Almighty God for all his blessings showered on us. Les us also remember our forefathers for their guidance from time to time.
