In order to strengthen and diversify the 3 decades of dedicated and multifaceted activities of the KEK Group, we realize that it is very much essential to bring our youth wing to the forefront of events. However, the ever-increasing influence and dominance of electronic media over the conventional communication channels including the print media has prompted us to study the feasibility to develop / upload a Kudumbayogam Website as proposed by our Joint Secretary Mr. E.I. Issac in the Executive Committee Meeting held in Hill Palace in the year 2016.
Though this subject was left to be discussed and finalized in the meeting of the effective members of the half yearly General Body of 2016, the lack of exposure of our 4th & 5th generation members to the modern communication media including Emails, Facebook, What’s App etc., the decision on launching the website was further delayed.
Further, in the 2016 Annual General Body Meeting held in Mulappuram, our Joint Secretary included this topic as a special agenda and discussed advantages of Website and highlighted the keen interest of our youth towards this. As unanimously decided in this Meeting, the preliminary activities towards designing and launching the website was commenced in March 2017. A list of youth Members pertaining to 6th ,7th & 8th Generations was prepared and in the first Meeting of the youth wing held in the residence of Vice President Mr. E.M .Paily in Kondazhy on 08-7-2017, a 10 Member Committee consisting of Jefin James, Pazhayannoor (President), Johns Issac, Hill Palace (Secretary), Bibin Kondazhy (Vice President), Rino, Vattai (Joint Secretary) was formed. A six (6) Member Editorial Board including these four (4) youth members together with P.T. Issac (Secretary ) and E.I. Issac (Joint Secretary) was constituted and E.I. Issac was nominated as the Convener of the EB.
All of us know that the 2017 Kudumbayogam held in Kattappana was recognized as a great event by way of participation of members and also due to the variety of activities held on the day and we are proud to record here that all credits for the success of this get-together goes to the youth wing of our Kudumbayogam
Based on the strong desire expressed by our members to launch the Website as soon as possible, a Meeting of the Executive Committee and the Youth Wing was held on 01-07-2018 in the house of E.I. Mathew, Cheerakkuzhy in which it was unanimously decided to Launch the Website in the forthcoming Kudumbayogam of 26-12-2018 being held in Puthuveli.
Two (2) Companies based in Ernakulam & Trichur respectively were contacted and detailed discussions were held with them by the Editorial Board in Hill Palace on 29-07-2018. Both these companies were requested to give their proposal along with quotation. Editorial Board has evaluated both the proposals in the meeting held on 05-08-2018 in the residence of our Youth Wing President, Jeffin James and it was decided to entrust the task of designing/launching the Website to the Ernakulam based Company “Green I Solutions” under the guidance of our Family Member Seena who is the Managing Director of this Company.
The forthcoming tasks including the day-to-day running and future expansions of the Website will be controlled and guided by the respective Secretaries and the Administrator nominated from time to time by the Youth Wing of our Kudumbayogam. The dedicated, consistent and conscientious effort of the Editorial Executive Committee for over one (1) year and the unchallenging technical skill of our family member Seena has made our dream of Website www.kuttilakattuedinjukuzhiyil.org come true , adapting all features of the state of the art technology. We pray and wish that this Website will act as a Guiding Light for the forthcoming generations of our family.
